This plan is designed to meet the needs of the young man who is on the threshold of his career and has prospects of increase in income after a short period. At the outset a Whole Life - without profits is issued with premiums payable till age 70. At the end of 5 years from the commencement, the policyholder has the option to convert it into Endowment Assurance . In the event of cessation of payment of the premiums under the policy, a paid-up assurance is automatically secured, provided the premiums have been paid under the policy for not less than three years and a minimum paid-up assurance for Rs.250(exclusive of vested bonus if any), is secured. The minimum sum assured for which a policy will be issued under this plan is Rs.10000 and the maximum age at entry shall be 45 years. Children aged 12 and 13 years N.B.D. allowed maximum S.A. of two lakhs , term allowed is 40 years. Age Limit: 15 to 45 years. Term of the Policy: 15 to 55 years.
