Daisy foray into software

HYDERABAD: Daisy Systems, an IT hardware company, is foraying into software by establishing a separate software division. It has also entered into a strategic alliance with Spatial Technologies (India) to market their range of products both in the domestic and global markets.

Spatial Web GIS is an application that offers a Web-based decision support system (DSS) that is capable of locating system data and integrating it with information relating to larger area levels, so that the spatial relation linkages and interdependencies can be estimated.

The company is broadbasing its operations with specific focus on Web-centric applications and e-commerce business solutions and client-server services. Daisy Systems clientele includes several universities, research institutions, DoT and ECIL, according to a company release.
