• Promoted by noted management consultant, Dr. Hiru Bijlani, and incorporated in 1985.

• Active in management training, software development and computer based training (CBT). It has 2 major divisions: a software division and a management training division. Company has strong base and knowledge in management training through a chain of 30 franchisees.

• Income and profit levels have improved in the recent times because of its foray into Y2K related software. For the first half of this financial year, company earned a net profit of Rs.1.23 million on Rs.16.63 million income.

• Plans to set up a full fledged computer based training / web based training center in Chennai. It also plans to set up an overseas office for software division and office in Calcutta for management training division.

• Total project cost as appraised by Dena Bank is Rs.40 million. Dena Bank has sanctioned a term loan of Rs.4 million towards project cost. Promoters are bringing in around Rs.18 million by subscribing to 9 million shares at a premium of Rs.10 before the issue.

• For the current year and the next two financial years company projects to earn income of Rs.23.03 million, Rs 69.11 million and Rs.89.84 million and net profit of Rs.1.83 million, Rs.7.47 million and Rs.22.39 millions respectively.

• Though Zenith’s management has got good experience in management training area, company has yet to prove itself in the computer based training area which it is expanding into. Investment at the current offer price will yield returns only after some time. Can be viewed from a medium term perspective.
