Application Forms
01. The prospective candidates will be
required to complete an application form of CBay Karvy Academy.
Selection Process
The selection process of the candidates for undergoing
training will be as follows:
01. Successful completion of the on-line and written tests
conducted by CBay Karvy Academy.
02. Obtaining certificate from an ENT specialist, after
undergoing an audiometric test.
03. CBay Karvy Academy will intimate
selection to the candidates either by phone/letter/notice board of Karvy. The candidates
are requested to visit the office of Karvy Consultants on the dates that may be specified,
to ascertain results of their tests and fees to be paid. Upon receipt of the necessary
fees the candidates will be given a letter of intimation of the date of commencement of
the training program. The selection for this will be strictly on merit, and will also be
on a first-come-first-served basis after results are displayed.
04. Payment of either full or the first
installment of fee for training.
Payment Terms
01. The candidates will be required to confirm that they
will effect payment of a training fee of (a) a lumpsum amount of Rs.13,500/- or (b) Rs.
15,000, payable in three equal installments of Rs. 5,000 each, with the first installment
to be paid immediately after selection. Second and third installments can be paid in the
second and third months of training.
Training
01. The training would be for a period of 6 months.
02. The timings of the training period shall be at the
discretion of the Academy.
03. Training would be imparted in the subjects of Medicine,
Computers, English, Typing and Medical Transcription. The training would consist of both
classroom and on-the-job-training.
04. The performance of the candidates will be continuously
evaluated by way of periodical tests, home assignments etc., and all candidates are
expected to perform to expected standards at all times. Training may be suspended at the
discretion of the Academy after giving adequate time for the candidates who are not
performing to the expected standards. In these cases, the course fees charged would not be
refunded.
05. At the end of the training period, and upon clearing
the CBay Certification Test conducted by CBay Systems, a certificate to that effect will
be issued to the successful candidates.
06. Training can be terminated on disciplinary grounds and
non-performance in the training. In all such cases, the training fee paid till then will
not be refunded.
Placement
01. Placement at Karvy/Accredited centers will be provided
to the candidates who clear the CBay Certification Test conducted by CBay Systems at the
end of the training program.
Scholarships
01. Selection of trainees for Scholarships will be at the
discretion of the Academy and will be based on their performance in the CBay Certification
Test, provided they give a declaration that they will work with Karvy Consultants for a
period of one year.
Miscellaneous
01. It is in the candidates’ interest that they must
continuously practice whatever has been taught during the course so that they derive full
benefits of an excellent career in medical transcription.
02. The candidates should maintain high level of decorum
and discipline, and diligently apply themselves to all activities of the Academy.
03. All candidates will be bound by the rules and
regulations of the Karvy Consultants Ltd. and the CBay Karvy Academy.
